THIS STORY. THIS SPIRIT.
This hair of Mine
The influence Black hair has on society and selfhood is finally being recognised. Yet the elevated rituals specifically designed to celebrate and support texture-rich hair don’t exist. And we won’t use this space to elaborate on why that’s an issue. Instead, we lift up black identity in our supernatural state. Because even in its purest form, texture-rich hair defies.
Through luxurious rituals join us in reclaiming our self-care practice with intelligent solutions that are nothing short of exceptional.
It is more than what we deserve, it is what we expect.

T.H.O.M. is the vision of world-renowned hairstylist and British Fashion Council’s Changemaker Prize recipient, Cyndia Harvey. Born to Jamaica, for Cyndia, hair has long represented an avenue of artistic escapism. An interest first garnered in her mother’s salon and nurtured on the shop floor in one of London's busiest black hair salons. Cyndia’s talent is one of the industry’s most prolific and yields an impressive body of work, from campaigns for Versace, Jacquemus, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. To runway shows for Diesel, Burberry, Simone Rocha, and Ambush. Not to mention cultural figureheads like Solange, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar and Adwoa Aboah. Harvey’s work combines both technical precision and a unique playfulness that celebrates black hair and its uncomplicated excellence.
This Hair Of Mine began in 2016 as a filmic visual commentary on the connection of hair with lost traditions and lineage. Galvanised by its impact, and feeling the gap in more than just the places we shop, we decided to act.
"Wash day is a ritual that is synonymous with Black women. At T.H.O.M we want to transform that often weighted experience from something disappointing to a self-care practice associated with ease and confidence, and the knowledge that your products are going to work how they say they do." - Cyndia, Founder.
We love this hair of yours, of mine, of ours.
